Stevi Jo's History

I have been in the marketing field for 15 years. I started off with retail marketing and sales, which I have no desire to do again, but great experience for building customer service skills and sales skills. I then went into print marketing at a nationwide company and became the Operation Manager quickly. Anyone that has been in print marketing will tell you how difficult that can be! But also a great experience and skill builder. After all of these experience I went into digital marketing and web development.

Why Web Developer

I have always had a creative side and a need to communicate with people. I find that being in the marketing and web development field really encompasses both of these strengths. I truly enjoy helping people grow their business and I enjoy building it all on the back end. I see myself as the rare honest car salesman, the person that will help you understand and make the best decision without leading you to something you don't truly want or need for their personal gain.

Skills

Being more on the creative side I have a strong Front End Developer skill set. After going through the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!), Bootcamp for Full Stack Web Development I do have a strong understanding of the back end systems including but not limited to: Heroku, Node, MySql, MongoDB, JSON. Front End skills include but are not limited to: HTML, Wordpress, CSS, JavaScript, Handlebars, Bootstrap, Bulma, and more. Other than web developement I have a strong background in: SEO, GoogleAds, Google Analytics, Social Media Creation, Marketing, and Maintenance, and more.
